Having trouble with your download?
What You’ll Receive
Your purchase includes both PDF and EPUB files.
- PDF works on any device with a PDF reader (Adobe Acrobat, Preview on Mac, any web browser).
- EPUB works with Apple Books, Google Play Books, Kobo, and most e-reader apps.
Files are delivered via email immediately after purchase. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it within a few minutes.
Troubleshooting
If you’re having difficulty accessing your files after purchase, try the following steps:
- Check your email (including your spam or promotions folder) for the download link from Method & Meaning.
- Try a different browser if the download doesn’t start automatically. Chrome, Firefox, and Safari all work well.
- Make sure you have a PDF reader installed. Most devices include one by default. If not, Adobe Acrobat Reader is free.
- For EPUB files, use Apple Books (iOS/Mac), Google Play Books (Android), or a free EPUB reader like Calibre (desktop).
Reading on Kindle
Amazon’s Kindle app and devices now support EPUB files directly. To send your EPUB to Kindle:
- Go to amazon.com/sendtokindle
- Drag and drop your EPUB file
- It will appear in your Kindle library on all your devices
You can also email the EPUB file to your Kindle email address (found in your Amazon account under Manage Your Content and Devices > Preferences > Personal Document Settings).
